The Obama

into the U.S. has delivered his
boss's International Migration
Policy for the 21st Century -

The administration
will address the perception
among citizens that "immigrants
threaten their economic well-being,"
according to Eric P. Schwartz,
Obama's Assistant Secretary of State
for Population, Refugees, and Migration.

Schwartz, revealed
the predictable agenda
as he prepared to represent
the U.S. at an annual United Nations
powwow (Global Forum on Migration
and Development) to address migration.

The assistant secretary
also made clear that the
president opposes local laws, like
Arizona's, to curb illegal immigration.

Schwartz conveniently
omitted that U.S. taxpayers
annually spend hundreds of millions
of dollars to medically treat, educate
and incarcerate illegal immigrants

As local governments
across the U.S. find ways
to battle illegal immigration,
a North Carolina city is working
to help undocumented aliens by
becoming the nation's first to
accept an easily forged Mexican
card as a legal form of identification.

Allowing the open borders movement
to dictate law is nothing new in North
Carolina, which has several illegal immigrant
sanctuaries, including Chapel Hill, Charlotte
and Raleigh.

In 2003 Durham passed a resolution
officially declaring its sanctuary status
and prohibiting police from inquiring
about suspects' immigration status
