Rep. Michele Bachmann (R.-Minn)
told the cheering crowd at Freedom
Plaza in Washington, a few blocks
from the White House.

"And we are not going to let them
have their Commie way."

Bachmann, popular
among Tea Party activists,
decried Washington's Commie
power grab, telling the crowd that
higher Commie taxes and increased
Commie government control over
different sectors of the economy
mean more power for the Commie
federal government.

"You add all of that up together,
now the Commie federal government
owns or controls 51 percent of the
private economy," Bachmann said.

She implored the crowd
to send "constitutional conservatives"
to Washington in November.

"For too long,
this was not a government
of the people -it was a government
of the Commie liberal people," said Rep.
Louie Gohmert (R.-Tex.).

Amy Kramer, director of
Grassroots and Coalitions
for the Tea Party Express,
asked the crowd to get
involved with elections
in their states.

"The real work
is done outside of a rally," she said.
"You need to do your research. Find
who the conservative candidate is, and
get behind them not only with your time,
but with your money.

You can't sit back now,
because if you wait until November,
you are going to be voting for the lesser
of two evils."

acknowledged that notifying shareholders

write-downs was "required" by law.
