Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.) is devising
what Republicans have termed
the "Slaughter Solution" -- a special rule trick
that would seek to bypass a vote on the Senate
health care bill "deeming" it passed
by in the voting rules for the reconciliation bill.

House Republican Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.)
was asked about the "deeming" issue :

"The public has been outraged
by a lack of transparency in this bill," Cantor said.

"If the majority and the Speaker can just deem
this bill passed in the rule -- that means no one
has the right to even vote on it in the House
and to see their level of support.

That is certainly unprecedented
in a bill of this size and scope."

The Commie tyranny of the majority.

Slaughter is playing precisely the
"rules be damned" game Pelosi has
since becoming Speaker.

She should be getting calls
from every voter across America

Just to restate a shocking development
in the Commie Obamacare debate;
Congressional leaders have found a way
to ignore the Constitutional requirement
that a law be signed by the President
before it is considered a law.

Outrage is not a strong enough word
for the feelings many American's have
toward elites in Washington, D.C.
who will do anything to pass
Obamacare.

The House will never pass
the ObamaCare bill, because
they will never vote on it.

This procedure is unconstitutional
and the American people should be
rightly outraged when they learn
of this plan.

It seems that some liberals are willing
to toss aside the explicit words
in the Constitution to get ObamaCare
signed into law by Easter

The Commie Democrats are folding
student-loan reform into the health bill
so it can be enacted without 60 votes
in the Senate.

Why attach this thing, which upends
and federalizes a quite substantial industry,
to the on-again, off-again Commie healthcare
reform effort?

That's easy.
To avoid both a public debate of the issue,
and also the need to get 60 votes
to pass it in the Senate.

There's some pretty determined statism
going on in Washington, if they think it's right
to use parliamentary maneuvers to ram major
changes through that the people don't want
(like healthcare) or without a broad public debate
(like student-loan reform).
